Dr Neopane has been practicing medicine since the last twenty eight years. He is involved in journal editorial role since 2005. He started his editorial careers from the Medical Journal of Shree Birendra Hospital (MJSBH) where he managed the overall publications. He later took over the role of Editor in Chief of the Journal of Nepal Pediatric Society (JNPS). He has edited more than 25 issues of the journal. Dr Neopane is a member of World Association of Medical Editors (WAME), International Committee of Medical Journal Editors (ICMJE), and Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE), Asia Pacific Association of Medical Editors (APAME) and Open Access Scholarly Publishers Association (OASPA). He is the current Vice President of Nepal Association of Medical Editors (NAME). As a Pediatrician by profession and a former Vice President of Nepal Pediatric Society 2014-2016 (NEPAS), Dr Neupane has attended various international conferences on medical journal editing to present his scholarly works.. He is the recipient of the best paper in “Research4Life”, INASP, UK (2004).
