Dr. Raba Thapa MD, PhD is an Associate Professor of Ophthalmology, senior consultant ophthalmologist and vitreo-retinal surgeon working at Tilganga Institute of Ophthalmology, Kathmandu, Nepal. She has completed her MBBS and MD in Ophthalmology from Trihuvan University, Institute of Medicine, Kathmandu, Nepal in 2000 and 2005 respectively. She had completed her PhD from Vrije University, Amsterdam, The Netherlands in 2017 and post-doctoral research fellowship from John A Moran Eye Center, University of Utah, USA in 2022. Dr. Thapa has currently serving as an editorial board member of Acta Scientific Ophthalmology, an editorial board member of Journal of Nepal Health Research Council, section editor of Nepalese Journal of Ophthalmology. She has served as a peer reviewer of about 15 national and international peer reviewed journals. She is an author of 50 articles published in various national and international peer reviewed journals including 35 articles and case reports as a principal investigator.
