Mr. Achyut Raj Pandey is a public health researcher with over a decade of experience in health policy, health system, and health economics research. He is a PhD scholar in Health Economics at the University of Bergen and serves on the Executive Board of the Nepal Health Economics Association. He also serves as an academic editor for the PLOS ONE (renowned health sciences journal) and the Journal of Nepal Public Health Association. He is also a commissioner in Lancet NCDI Poverty Commission since 2017.
He has held roles as a senior research fellow at HERD International, research advisor at ABT Associates, and research officer at the Nepal Health Research Council.
He has trained over 1,000 health professionals on proposal writing, data analysis, and scientific publication and published 60+ peer-reviewed articles. In 2021, he received the NHRC Young Health Researcher Award for his scientific contributions.
